I'm Dr Suzanne Fuld — a molecular virologist who fell in love with the challenge of communicating science, and built a 20-year career making complex technologies commercially successful.
My story
I earned my PhD in molecular virology at the University of Glasgow and began my career in the lab — running pre-clinical trials, managing scientific teams and launching molecular diagnostic products as one of the first employees at a clinical lab startup.
That scientific grounding became my marketing superpower. Over two decades I've held product management, marketing and brand leadership roles at some of the most respected names in the Cambridge cluster — Abcam, Horizon Discovery and Nuclera — and co-founded my own consultancy along the way.
I've launched ELISA kits and AI-driven protein synthesis platforms, led co-marketing with partners from Google to NASDAQ, run PR for a Series C funding announcement, and built brands that hold up under scientific scrutiny.
That path means I can read a paper and a P&L, interview a principal investigator and brief a designer, shape a brand and ship a campaign. I partner with founders and marketing leaders who need senior marketing thinking without the overhead of a full agency — strategy that's grounded in the science, and execution that actually gets done.
